Behavior Support Services

Among Friends offers the following social-sexual support services:

Positive Behavior Support
PBS is designed to help families, individuals and communities address behaviors constructively and proactively.

Advocacy
When you need someone to help advocate for your loved one in their school, workplace, or other environment where accommodations might be needed or special considerations need to be made.

Coaching
Coaching enables families and/or individuals to get help with any issues they are facing in a dignified, professional manner.  Short and long term goals, behavior modification, and teaching are all aspects of this work.

Classes
Community classes offer training and education on a variety of important topics.

Support Groups
Support groups are designed for parents, providers, caregivers, and others who want to collaborate with each other and receive support for the challenges they are face.

Social Events
Our social events help combat the isolation and loneliness many people with developmental / neurological variations face.

Trainings
Trainings are designed to increase awareness about social-sexual issues for agencies and civic entities who serve populations living with developmental / neurological variations. Examples include: police departments, educators, group homes, respite care workers, employers, etc.

Rates

Brokerage Customers (utilizing Brokerage Funds)

Social-Sexual Support Services fall under Service Code #738.
Behavior Consultation for Brokerage Customers is $55.00-$85.00/hr

Private Pay Customers (utilizing personal funds)

Positive Behavior Supports, Advocacy & Coaching………….$80-$120 / hr
Customized Classes & Trainings……..……………………..……….$80-$200 / hr
Support Groups & Social Events – Many are FREE, some offered for minimal donation

Special Circumstances:

1.Some reduced rates and sliding scale fees are available to those in need or those on fixed incomes.
2.An additional fee for travel may apply to the above quoted prices.

Other Customers (such as agencies, organizations, churches, etc.)

Rates vary for customers not utilizing brokerage or personal funds. Please call for details.
